XP8 compound is a moderate friction race compound that can be balanced with XP10 compounds as needed for excellent braking control. Can also be used as an HPDE compound where lower friction and heat load is desired such as beginner and novice run groups. XP8 compound has lower rotor wear and manageable dust. XP8 can be considered for some aggressive street use but dust, noise and rotor wear is expected.

Temp. Range: 200-1350° F (93°C – 732°C)

Torque: Medium

Recommended Use: HPDE compound where lower friction and heat load is desired such as beginner and novice run groups.

Carbotech does NOT recommended XP8 for daily use on the street due to elevated levels of dust and noise and the amount of heat needed to work properly.
